The Porsche 911 GT3 (997) is the second generation of the GT3 and has been classed as one of the best drivers’ 911s ever. However, since 2007 car entertainment has come a long way.
Luckily there is a kit to update your outdated radio with the latest technology, whether you have PCM with Bose or without Bose.
We offer a fitting kit to retain your original steering wheel controls and two colours of fascia in Silver or Black.
This particular customer first enquired with us 18 months ago before finally being in a position to go ahead (after some mechanical problems).
The customer wanted apple carplay/android auto with CD. We recommended the Pioneer Z5200 – https://www.pioneer-car.eu/uk/products/avh-z5200dab
This 2-din 6.8” resistive touch screen includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity via USB, as well as DAB radio, Bluetooth and 13 band GEQ.
We also added a reverse camera to the Pioneer screen.
