We recently upgraded the basic entertainment system in this brand new motorhome to an Alpine Halo 9 Apple Car Play and Android Auto radio.

The customer initially asked us for a single din DAB radio upgrade thinking they couldn’t have a “double din” screen installed in the dash.

The Alpine Halo 9 (iLX-F903D) is designed for vehicles that aren’t able to have a double din screen installed in the dash.  It’s single din chassis makes it compatible with any vehicle that can have a radio upgrade.

The 9” high resolution touch screen is adjustable allow the installation position to be angled as well as moved up and down by +/- 3 cm with depth adjustment by 20mm.

The Halo9 is suitable for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, some of the most popular apps to use on your Halo9 are WhatsApp, Spotify, Amazon Music, Waze, Apple Maps, Google Maps and much more.

You can also talk to this Halo9 to ask it to call one of your contacts, request route directions, write or send messages, ask for weather forecasts and much more.

Other features of the Alpine unit include built in Bluetooth for wireless connection of a mobile phone for hands free communication.  USB and HDMI input, built in digital (DAB) radio, tuning options, drive assist cameras, and much more.
