This particular customer came to us after Halfords weren’t able to carry out the installation for them.

They were looking to upgrade the entertainment system in the vehicle to include apple car play and android auto with DAB radio.

We offer a double din upgrade that is suitable for the following models of Mini:

Mini Hatch R56 (2007-2014)

Mini Convertible R57 (2009-2015)

Mini Clubman R55 (2007-2014)

Mini Coupe R58 (2012-2015)

Mini Roadster R59 (2012-2015)

From our list of recommended radios this customer chose the Pioneer DA160.

This radio is mechless (no cd player) with a 6.8″ capacitive touchscreen with Apple Car play and Android Auto. It also has USB mirroring for Android, Bluetooth, DAB digital radio as well as all your usuall featues from a Pioneer radio.

The fitting kit for the mini retains the steering wheel controls and original parking sensors if you have them.
