Enhance also upgrade a lot of Motorhomes. The Mercedes Sprinter motorhome is a great camper vehicle for trips and breaks away, however, the sound system is lacking any depth or clarity.
The original speakers are poor quality and the centre speaker makes the system worse rather than better.
Our advice is to upgrade the door speakers, add tweeters to the dash and disconnect the centre speaker. We’d recommend the Audison Prima APK165P component speakers.
Next add 3-stage acoustics to the doors, also known as sound deadening. This will help to reduce the reverberations and help to reduce road noise. The speaker is mounted to the door card itself so it needs treatment.
For some customers, this is enough. But if you like a warm hugging feel from the sound and the budget allows, we’d also recommend adding an 8″ sub box and amplifier under the passenger seat. The subwoofer and amplifier are completely hidden and do not interfere with the driver seat being able to turn.
