Audi audio upgrades

We offer a large variety of car audio products and consider ourselves car audio experts so will only put our name to brands which are known and trusted by our technicians.

Different brands are also good for different products, for example, we are big fans of Pioneer and Alpine head units, but prefer Hertz and Audison for audio upgrades.

Audi Audio upgrade examples:

In this article we will give a few Audi upgrade examples, but these are just suggestions and can be adapted.

The Audi TT is a small car but by adding a simple Audio upgrade you can bring the car to life and truly enhance the driving experience.  As with a few of our audio upgrades it is best to start by lining the doors with sound deadening and upgrading the door speakers.

We’d recommend some Audison Prima APK (£230) component speakers to upgrade the doors. These will also require a speaker adapter: Q+Sa (£30)

To take this a step further an amplifier will allow more volume and better control of the speaker cone movement.  This will add definition to the music allowing you to pick out individual instruments and sounds.

We would recommend an Audison SR4.3 (£350)- 4 channel amplifier for this vehicle.

Finally adding a subwoofer to this installation you can improve the sound system by up to 40%.  A sub will allow a larger range of frequencies – without one you are missing out on some of the frequencies.

We would recommend an Audison Prima APBX 10 AS (£530) subwoofer with enclosure.

If you have the original radio you will also require a hi-level converter, we’d recommend the LC2i  (£120):
