Here’s a breakdown of the Pandora alarm system’s sensor capabilities:
1. Tilt Sensor: Detects vehicle jacking, towing, and wheel theft by monitoring changes in the vehicle’s angle.
2. Shock Zone: Detects hard impacts such as a shopping trolley or bike hitting the vehicle, triggering an alert.
3. Shock Warn: Offers a light impact warning detection for incidents like door dings or minor bumps, providing a notification.
4. Motion Sensor: Utilises an accelerometer to detect speed, movement, and towing of the vehicle.
5. Internal Movement Sensor: Monitors internal cabin motion and provides external warn-away chirps as a deterrent against unauthorized access or break-ins.

*some vehicles are unable to kill the engine, so the start motor is disabled so the car can’t be started again once the engine is switched off.
Remote start (optional extra)
For some vehicles it’s possible to add remote start to allow you to start your vehicle from the comfort of your home. This is great for both the colder days to start warming the car up and also for the hot summer days to start cooling the car down. We often need a working key installed with the alarm system, so if you only have 2 keys and want a spare key we’d suggest getting a new one cut before the installation.
